Coleman Consulting Group, LLC are looking for engineers to work State projects nationwide.
Job duties:
- Conduct site inspections on sites with major damage (e.g., destroyed facilities; facilities with extensive damage; facilities with significant damage to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components, etc.) to document disaster-related damage
- Conduct site inspections to validate infrastructure damage and record detailed damage descriptions during the inspection to include the following additional tasks:
- Review and analyze professional architectural/engineering reports and designs or as-built plans
- Develop scopes of work, including related code and standard requirements
- Validate applicant-provided scopes of work, including related code and standard requirements. Develop and review cost estimates
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in either electrical, civil or mechanical engineering.
- 5 years of experience in site inspections of large commercial infrastructures
- 1-2 years of experience in site Inspections in any of the following eligible types of work:
- Restoration of Roads, Bridges, Water control Facilities, Buildings, Equipment, Utilities, Debris Removal, Schools, Churches, Parks, and recreation centers
- A United States Citizenship
- The ability to maintain FEMA specific trainings
- Microsoft Office Skills
- The ability to deploy to any location in zone 2 with a 24–48-hour notice after Task Order Award
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Experience managing Site Inspectors
- PE - Professional Engineer preferred
Compensation: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
